Click on image for a full screen viewThunder Road is a home HO Raceway owned and operated by Steve Rolfe from Narrandera in southern NSW. The 4 lane road course was manufactured by TKO Tracks in the USA (routed PVC) and imported by Steve. Thunder Road has a lap length of 118 feet and sits on a 28 foot by 8 foot table. Lane spacing is 1.65 inches with a 1.95 inch gutter edge. The power supply is variable 3 – 30 volts at 40amps, and a Trakmate computer lap counting system is in place running off infrared sensors. Steve also has a 40 foot TKO Tracks PVC Drag Strip (far right of photo) that has a run off area and super cool ‘turn around’ (so you don’t have to walk down and collect your car).
